What does the status mean?
These three words decide whether you can start with us this month. They are not marketing labels; they come from the payer record.
- ContractedAIMH has an active agreement with that plan, according to the payer record. It means we can bill them. It does not mean your child is automatically covered — benefits, eligibility and authorization still have to be verified.
- In credentialingAIMH is completing that payer's enrollment process. Services should not be treated as in-network until the status changes. Ask us and we will tell you honestly where it stands, including how long it has been there.
- Not participatingAIMH may pursue enrollment with a payer in the future. There is no participation today, and you will not find those plans presented here as available.

Florida Medicaid
ABA is a covered benefit for children with a documented autism diagnosis and medical necessity, and AIMH is an approved provider. The full AHCA policy is published here rather than summarised, because summaries of coverage policy are how families end up misinformed.
No coverage at all?
Say so early. Florida has routes that do not run through private insurance, and some have waiting lists measured in years — which is a reason to start now, not after everything else fails.
