What should be reported?
- Any concern about the safety or wellbeing of a client — at home, school, community, or during sessions.
- Suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation — our clinicians are mandatory reporters under Florida law.
- Ethical concerns about clinical practice (BACB Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts).
- Privacy / HIPAA concerns — mishandled records, PHI shared through unsecured channels.
- Billing or fraud concerns — services billed incorrectly to Medicaid or any insurer.
- Harassment, discrimination, or unsafe conduct by anyone associated with our organization.
How to report
Choose whichever channel you're most comfortable with — including anonymously:
Call us: (786) 652-6945 (calls & WhatsApp) and ask for the Clinical Director.
Email: compliance@americaninstituteofmentalhealth.com
Use the confidential form below — you may leave the contact fields empty to remain anonymous.
You may always also report directly to external authorities: the Florida Abuse Hotline, AHCA, or the BACB (bacb.com) for ethics matters.
Non-retaliation promise: no one — employee, family, or client — will ever face retaliation for reporting a concern in good faith. Ever.
